The Neighborhood Watch Program was started in our neighborhood in April 2012. We meet on the 3rd Thursday of every month from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The location of the meeting is announced 2 to 3 days prior to the meeting date. A representative from the Escambia County Sheriff's Office is normally present at the meeting with a guest speaker that provides training.
To report suspicious activity to Escambia County Sheriff's Office, Call 850-436-9620. Inform the caller on the other end of the phone that you are from Eagle Ridge Neighborhood Watch.
If you are going out of town, please call the dispatch number, 436-9620, and tell them how long you will be out of town and they will make extra passes through the neighborhood to check on your home. You will need to provide them with a list of people (neighbors, family, etc.) who would have permission to be at your home while you are gone.
Remember to keep your garage door closed at all times. Motion detection lights are very good for security. Parking on both sides of the street, especially in a curve, and parking the wrong way are against the law. Tickets could be issued for both of these offenses. Please be courteous of your neighbors. Do not park in the street blocking their driveway!!
